Saturated insulation under a new membrane continues to hold moisture that attacks the deck from below, creating deck rot and structural deterioration — and invalidating the manufacturer warranty. We take core samples to assess insulation condition before recommending recover. If moisture is present, we recommend targeted tear-off and insulation replacement in those areas.
